Service: I have been committed to DEIB efforts within my department and the broader economics community.
I served as a mentor in the Graduate Applications International Network (GAIN) program, which supports prospective graduate students from African countries to apply to Master's and Ph.D. programs in economics-related fields.
During my PhD, I:
Served on the ARE department-wide DEI committee and the Pedagogy and Research subcommittee.
Coordinated the Economists for Equity at Berkeley small grants competition in Fall 2021 and Spring 2022, which provides funding for Berkeley Ph.D. students working on topics related to equity and the welfare of marginalized groups/identities.
Mentored three undergraduate students as part of UC Berkeley's SPUR program.
